Court to frame charges against Rajab Butt in alleged rape case on Aug 29

A sessions court in Lahore has summoned YouTuber Rajab Butt and other suspects for indictment in a case involving allegations of sexual assault of a social media influencer.

Additional Sessions Judge Zafaryab Chadhar heard the complaint filed against the suspects. All the suspects appeared before the court and marked their attendance.

Defence lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq represented the suspects in court.

The court directed Rajab Butt and the other suspects to appear on August 29 for indictment.

The social media influencer filed the private complaint in 2025, alleging that the suspects had sexually assaulted and later blackmailed her.

She said she had evidence supporting her allegations, including WhatsApp conversations, a medical report and her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
