Among the millions of pilgrims who have travelled from across the world to perform the sacred rituals of Hajj, one face has emerged with a deeply moving spiritual story that reflects faith, guidance, and transformation.
This is the story of Muhammad Luca, a revert to Islam from Italy, who embraced the faith after hearing the call to prayer (Adhan) for the very first time.
Muhammad Luca is currently in Mina performing the rites of Hajj alongside fellow pilgrims. According to him, he first heard the Adhan on television at the age of 12. The powerful and soulful call left a profound impression on his heart and ultimately became a source of guidance in his life.
He explained that the spiritually uplifting sound of the Adhan inspired him to study Islam in greater depth. After years of research, comparative study, and reflection, he eventually accepted Islam and dedicated his life to a new sense of purpose.
Muhammad Luca stated that Islam provided him with a clear direction in life, inner peace, and a strong sense of identity. He added that the confusion and uncertainty he once experienced have now disappeared, and he remains grateful to Allah for guiding him towards the truth.
He also praised the excellent arrangements made for pilgrims during Hajj in Saudi Arabia, as well as the outstanding organisation and management of the Two Holy Mosques. According to him, the echoes of the Adhan and the chants of “Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk” within the sacred surroundings continue to strengthen his faith even further.
