Pakistan lodges protest with India over ceasefire violations

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office of Pakistan has hailed the United Kingdom’s decision on changing their travel advisory for Pakistan.
The FO spokesperson, Aisha Farooqui took to Twitter and welcomed the UK’s decision and called it a positive step for relationship building.
In the Tweet, FO spokesperson said, “Government & people of Pakistan welcome the comprehensive review of UK travel advisory for British citizens travelling to Pakistan. A Positive step forward, forging even stronger & closer people-to-people links between Pakistan & UK.”

The spokesperson further said that Pakistan was looking forward to hosting “tourists, investors, academics and other visitors.”
Earlier today, the UK changed its travel advice to reflect the improved security situation in Pakistan.
