A girl faced sexual harassment near Kakul Academy in Abbottabad, after which police allegedly took the suspect, Qari Shahid, into custody and registered a case to begin an investigation.
According to reports, the girl was waiting for her father when a man offered her a ride in his car. She politely informed him that her father was on the way to pick her up and that she did not need any help.
However, the man continued insisting despite her repeated refusals. According to the girl, he did not stop even after being told several times.
The girl recorded a video of the situation and shared it on social media, after which the incident gained public attention and triggered strong public reaction.
Following the widespread outrage and the viral video, Abbottabad Police acted promptly, arrested the suspect, and initiated legal proceedings.
