Police arrest 10-member gang of robbers in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a 10 member-gang of robbers and recovered looted 10 motorbikes, vans, weapons and narcotics from their custody.

Police said that on the order of DPOP Ammara Ather, Bhalwal police team headed by the  SHO Arif Hussain conducted an operation against criminals and drug pushers.

 During the operation, the police team apprehended 10 members of the robber gang and their head, Altaf Hussain.

The police also claimed to have recovered 10 looted motorbikes, van, 2120 grams Heroin, 620 grams Hashish, three Kalashnikovs, three Pistols, two guns 12 bore and 120 liters liquor from their possession.

The identities of other criminals,   Ansar Muhammad Akram, Imran, Suleman Zahid, Adnad alias Dano, Jahangir, Ehsan Shabbir, Shoaib and Muhammad Arif.

Police have registered FIRs against the suspects and started a further probe.
