‘Women’s T20 final,’ Blasters to face Challengers today

KARACHI: The PCB Blasters will face PCB Challengers in the final of the National Triangular T20 Women’s Championship 2019-20 at the National Stadium in Karachi today (Thursday).

The match will kick-off at 7:00 PM local time.

The PCB Blasters have won both their matches in the first round but lost the next two matches in the second round. However, their NRR was good enough to edge over the PCB Dynamites and finish on 2nd place.

Javeria Khan was the top performer for Blasters with bat as she scored 157 runs in the tournament. Anam Amin and Fatima Sana occupy the top spots in the list of leading wicket-takers with six and five wickets respectively.

The PCB Challengers won a game against the Dynamites and Blasters to qualify for the final as the table toppers.

The Challengers are blessed to have the services of Muneeba Ali who scored 50+ runs in all four league matches including the first-ever Women’s T20 century by a Pakistan player.
