Govt never left nation during its difficult time: Firdous Awan

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the government would stand with the nation in a difficult time.
Firdous Ashiq Awan in a tweet, expressed deep grief over the lives lost in Azad Kashmir and Balochistan due to the heavy snowfall.
Awan said that in this regard, Imran Khan canceled all of his engagements to visit Azad Kashmir and inquire about the health of injured ones.
She added that the prime minister immediately issued directives after taking notice of the incident of the flood and initiated relief activities for affectees in the area.
The tweets of Awan came as Imran Khan will visit the snow-hit areas of Azad Kashmir today. He will be accompanied by Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur.
