India’s Punjabi film industry has rebelled against Modi’s narrative. Another film featuring Pakistani artists is ready for release — the trailer of Chal Mera Putt 4 has been released.
According to details, the film will be released worldwide except in India on August 1. On the other hand, despite being banned in India, Sardaar Ji 3 has become the fourth biggest Punjabi film in history.
A rebellion against the hateful narrative of the Indian Punjabi film industry, Modi government’s ban on Pakistani artists has been defied. The trailer for Chal Mera Putt 4, featuring Amrinder Gill and Pakistani artists, has been released. The filmmaker has announced that the film will be released worldwide, excluding India, on August 1.
Earlier, the film Sardaar Ji 3 starring Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir has achieved massive success, earning 64 crore without being released in India, becoming the fourth highest-grossing Punjabi film in history.
Bollywood actors are also viewing the government’s restrictions and excessive bans on artists with concern. However, apart from the Punjabi film industry, most artists refrain from openly speaking against Narendra Modi.
