Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, has joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
According to details, former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Tanveer Ilyas met with President of PPP Women’s Wing Faryal Talpur on Monday. The meeting was also attended by Governor of Punjab, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Zia Lanjhar, and others.
According to the spokesperson of Zardari House, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Ali Shan Soni, and Ahmad Sagheer announced their joining of the PPP. Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir stated that the efforts of the PPP for the Kashmir cause are unparalleled. On this occasion, Faryal Talpur welcomed the individuals joining the party.
Faryal Talpur said that when Bilawal Bhutto Zardari becomes Prime Minister, Azad Kashmir will see unprecedented development, and the dream of freedom for Occupied Kashmir from India will become a reality.
It is worth mentioning that Sardar Tanveer Ilyas is not only a politician but also a businessman, who served as the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and President of PTI Azad Kashmir from April 2022 to April 2023.
