Islamabad: In response to the Israeli attack on Iran, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has activated a Crisis Management Unit to assist and safeguard Pakistani citizens and pilgrims currently in Iran.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, in a statement on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), strongly condemned Israel’s “unjustified aggression,” calling it a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty.
“This heinous act has shaken the very foundations of international law and the conscience of humanity, while severely undermining regional stability and global security,” Dar stated.
He affirmed that Pakistan stands in full solidarity with the government and people of Iran.
To ensure the safety and well-being of its nationals in Iran, Pakistan has operationalized the Crisis Management Unit, which will function 24/7 throughout the week. Additionally, the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran has been instructed to provide all necessary support and services to Pakistani citizens and pilgrims.
