Australia wins third test match by 279 runs against New Zealand

SYDNEY: Australia has won the final test match against New Zealand on the 4th day.

The 3rd test started well for the Australians with opener Marnus Labuschagne dominating New Zealand in the first innings making his first double century.

Australia made 454 runs in the first innings white New Zealand started rough and made only 256 in the first innings with Lyon picking up 5 wickets.

Australian openers picked up the pace with David Warner making his 24th ton in test cricket. Australia declared innings on 217/2. In the final innings of the test match, New Zealand needed 416 runs with 2 days to bat. Australian bowlers smeared the guest’s batting line, Lyon picked 5 wickets to complete his 10 wicket haul.

Australia took a huge round of applause for their amazing summer performance in-home, as the hosts won 5 consecutive test matches in 4 days, making it a dominating summer for the Australians.
