Gold prices in Pakistan on Monday experienced a decline after rising steadily for three consecutive days.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,800, settling at Rs338,800. Similarly, the rate for 10-gram gold fell by Rs1,543, reaching Rs290,466, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This decrease follows Saturday’s record high, when gold per tola surged to Rs340,600 after a single-day increase of Rs1,800.
The international gold market also saw a dip on Monday, with prices dropping by $18 to $3,218 per ounce, including a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with the rate per tola holding steady at Rs3,234. The unchanged silver rates provide a contrast to the fluctuations in gold prices.
