ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has roughly completed the summary of Hajj Policy 2020 and probably to publicize during the month of January.
The overall Hajj expenditures were expected to increase from Rs 63,000 to Rs 70,000 as the increase in taxes, accommodation, transport, train fare, food and other expenses to be expended during the stay of pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, according to a ministry official.
The official further stated that the Hajj wrap up for the next year would be Rs 489,575 against Rs 436,975 for the year 2019. While in the third week of January 2020 applications for performing Hajj under the Government Hajj proposal would be invited from the public.
It further stated that the road to Makkah Project, which was introduced by Saudi Arabia at Islamabad Airport last year, was probably to be extended to other airports of the country.
E-visas will be given to Pakistani pilgrims while the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has imposed austere conditions on scheduled banks.
Earlier, Minister for Religious Affairs announced that the Saudi government has made a decision to issue e-visa to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims.
during the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister Imran Khan made a special request to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims during the immigration process when visiting the kingdom for pilgrimage.
