Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday, reflecting a similar drop in international market rates. The local price for gold per tola fell by Rs3,000, settling at Rs304,000.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price for 10-gram gold also dropped, reaching Rs260,630 after a reduction of Rs2,571.
On Wednesday, gold prices had risen by Rs700 per tola, closing at Rs307,000 in the local market.

Internationally, gold rates also saw a decrease on Thursday. The APGJSA reported that the price stood at $2,893 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $28 decline during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained steady at Rs3,369 per tola.
