The Sindh High Court has granted physical remand for Armaghan Qureshi, the primary suspect in the kidnapping and murder of Mustafa Amir. During his court appearance, Armaghan maintained his innocence, asserting that he was being falsely implicated in the crime.

Speaking to reporters outside the courtroom, Armaghan denied any involvement in Mustafa’s murder. When questioned by a journalist about why he allegedly opened fire on the police, he claimed that officers were attempting to rob his house. During the interaction, he also engaged in a heated exchange with journalists.

According to police investigations, Armaghan’s associate, Shiraz, disclosed that a dispute over a woman on New Year’s Eve escalated between Mustafa and Armaghan. Allegedly, on January 6, Armaghan lured Mustafa to his home under false pretenses and subsequently murdered him in a violent altercation.

Armaghan’s Alleged Fortified Residence

Authorities have uncovered unsettling details about Armaghan’s residence in DHA Phase 5, Karachi, which appears to be heavily fortified. The property is equipped with advanced security systems, including surveillance cameras, automated controls, and walk-through gates. Barbed wire lines the perimeter, and bullet marks are visible on both interior and exterior walls.

Luxury vehicles, some bearing bullet holes, are parked in the driveway, suggesting a lifestyle of significant wealth. The first floor of the house reportedly resembles a call center, raising further questions about the activities conducted within the property.

Armaghan’s father, Kamran Qureshi, has acknowledged his son’s struggles with drug addiction and emphasized that he requires treatment. He also claimed that Armaghan operated a software house from within the residence.
