NEW DELHI: The 28th Army Chief General of India, Manoj Mukund Naravane has accused Pakistan of ceasefire violations.
During a press conference, Manoj Mukund Naravane said that all efforts by the Pakistani army to divert our attention from state-sponsored terrorism have failed.
He warned Pakistan in a strong tone that India reserves its right to advance surgical strikes to target terrorist bases across the border.
According to him, Pakistan was using terrorism as a state policy.
While talking about the issue of terrorism, he said that it has been a global problem and India favored eliminating terrorism from its root.

He added that many countries were being affected by terrorism, in which the whole world was beginning to understand the dangers of terrorism.
It was earlier announced in December 2019 that Lieutenant General Manoj Mukund Naravane will be India’s next chief of army staff. He has served 37 years in the Indian Army, he served in numerous command and staff appointments in peace.
The incoming Indian army chief’s tenure will last till April 2020 till his superannuation.
