The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has affirmed the accuracy of the 11th-grade results, reporting no instances of incorrect marking or unfair treatment.
A scrutiny committee, chaired by Senior Professor Naeem Khalid from Government College Gulistan-e-Jauhar, has compiled a report confirming that all procedures during the intermediate examinations were executed appropriately.
This committee, which included all head examiners, evaluated around 250 examination papers and determined that the marking process was satisfactory. Their report indicated no discrepancies with the results.
Additionally, a 15-member committee from the Sindh Assembly has convened to discuss the matter. Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah announced that the committee would investigate the complaints raised by students.
Ali Khurshidi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly, highlighted that the committee was established with the intention of safeguarding the students’ futures.
In spite of these assurances, numerous 11th-grade students in Karachi have taken to protesting the examination results.
On Friday, January 3, BIEK Chairman Ameer Qadri was dismissed from his role in response to students’ concerns regarding the Part-I results.
Furthermore, the scrutiny fee has been halved, now set at Rs500 per paper.
