The dispute between actress Nargis and Inspector Majid Bashir has come to an end, as Nargis has forgiven her husband Majid Bashir in the assault case.
According to a report by Dunya News on Thursday, Majid Bashir had assaulted his wife Nargis in November last year, and Nargis had filed an assault case against him at the Defence C police station. Inspector Majid Bashir had been out on bail in the assault case.
Nargis stated that, upon the intervention of family elders, she forgave Inspector Majid Bashir. She mentioned that her children and family members were upset, but she forgave her husband at the request of the elders. She also submitted an affidavit of reconciliation in court. Nargis expressed that she now wants to live the rest of her life for her son and daughter.
Investigative sources have stated that after Nargis submitted her statement, the police will prepare a closure report for the case, following which the registered case will be dismissed.
