Olivia Hussey Eisley, best known for her iconic roles in Romeo and Juliet and Black Christmas, passed away on December 27 at the age of 73
According to several media reports, the British-Argentine actress, who had been battling breast cancer since her diagnosis in 2008 and faced a recurrence in 2018, died of the disease, as confirmed by filmmaker Marc Huestis to the San Francisco Chronicle.
An official statement on her Instagram described her as ‘a remarkable person whose warmth, wisdom, and pure kindness touched the lives of all who knew her,’ adding that she ‘lived a life full of passion, love, and dedication to the arts.’ Below is a list of some of her best movies, which earned her widespread praise throughout her career.
