In an unusual act of vengeance, a woman in Faisalabad, Punjab, allegedly killed her household’s livestock following a dispute with her husband.
The incident occurred in the Mamo Kanjan area, where Zafar Iqbal reported the poisoning of four livestock, including three buffaloes and a cow.
According to the police report, Iqbal claimed his wife was responsible for the poisoning, which resulted in losses exceeding Rs. 1.2 million.
Iqbal said that the conflict arose when his wife expressed a desire to sell the animals to support her children from a previous marriage. The disagreement escalated, leading to the alleged poisoning of the livestock.
He also revealed that his wife fled after the incident. Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.
