Gold prices in Pakistan continued to decline for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, reflecting a drop in international rates.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs4,100, settling at Rs274,300, while the price of 10 grams dropped by Rs3,515 to reach Rs235,168, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This follows a similar trend on Monday when the price per tola decreased by Rs4,300.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a decline on Tuesday. The APGJSA reported the rate at $2,631 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $41 decrease for the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained stable at Rs3,400 per tola.
