The Pakistan High Commission to the UK decided to file a case against the persons who attacked former CJ Qazi Faiz Isa’s car in London.
Nine people will be charged. The diplomatic office will move the Scotland Yard for registration of the case.
During the attack on Qazi Faiz Isa, the vehicle of the Pakistan High Commission was also damaged.
Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the attack and directed the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) to identify the culprits and register a first information report (FIR) against the attackers so that their passports and CNICs should be suspended immediately.
He asked relevant officials to start the procedure for cancelling these persons’ citizenship.
Mohsin Naqvi said that he would forward the case of citizenship cancellation to the federal cabinet for approval. Yester-night, Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers carried out the attack and tried to smash its windowpanes.
Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa reportedly faced harassment and an attempted attack by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters during his visit to the United Kingdom.
Justice Isa was in London to attend a ceremony held in his honor at Middle Temple by The Honourable Society, making him the first Pakistani judge to be invited to their prestigious Tuesday dinner.
