Feudal lord of Khairpur has been given relief in the case of the brutal torture, rape, and murder of innocent Fatima Phuriro.
Ten days ago, in Rani Pur, a 10-year-old domestic worker named Fatima Phurio was killed due to sexual assault and torture at the home of an influential saint. The charges of terrorism have been removed from the murder case.
The Anti-Terrorism Court in Khairpur heard Fatima’s murder case. The plaintiff, including the mother of the deceased child, along with four witnesses, appeared in court.
During the hearing, the influential feudal lord, Pir Asad Shah, Hina Shah, Fayyaz Shah, and Imtiaz Mirasi, who were nominated in the case, appeared in court via video link. During the hearing, all four witnesses related to the victim retracted their statements.
Subsequently, the court removed the terrorism charges from the case and ordered the transfer of the case to the Sessions Court in Khairpur.
According to the post-mortem report of the deceased 10-year-old Fatima, the decomposition of the body had just begun. There were bruises on the right side of her face, and blood was dripping from her nose and ears.
The report stated that Fatima’s eyes were swollen, her tongue was pressed between her teeth, there were injury marks on the right side of her forehead, wounds were also present on the upper right side of her chest, and blood had accumulated under the tissues.
The report further revealed that there were wound marks between 2 to 5 centimeters on the middle of her back, a 6-centimeter wound mark on the lower back, a 2-centimeter wound on the left side of the back, a 10-centimeter wound from her hand to her arm, and a 6-centimeter wound on her right hand.
The report also mentioned that there were puncture marks on Fatima’s left hand, and all the wounds were inflicted before her death. The report confirmed that the child had suffered head injuries and had been sexually assaulted.
