The controversial classical singer, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, released his new parody song ‘Aaj Aane Ki Zid Na Karo’, media reported on Sunday.
According to the details, the original song “Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo’ was sung by famous classical ghazal singer Farida Khanum.
The writer was Fayyaz Hashmi, a prolific lyricist who had penned over 500 songs before moving to Pakistan in 1947. These included most of the popular non-film songs sung by Jagmohan Kaur, Hemant Kumar, and Pankaj Mallick in the 1940s.
But, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan twisted the word “Jaane” into “Aane” and included some Urdu alphabet in his new song. He used some Urdu alphabets like Alif, Bey, Pey, Tey, Sey, and Jeem with different alaap.
Pertinent to mention that self-claimed Pakistani singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is already facing legal consequences after receiving a defamation notice, claiming that he has damaged the reputation of the late musician Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
