Why has Sanam Javed been arrested again?

SARGODHA: PTI activist Sanam Javed has been arrested once again by Gujranwala police.

Mianwali police had arrested Alia Hamza and Sanam Javed from Lahore when she came out of the Sargodha jail. She along with Alia Hamza produced before an ATC on April 2.

Kamar Mushani police had registered two cases each against them. Both were discharged from the first case and granted bail in the in second case by the local ATC.

Sanam’s father had filed a habeas corpus petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC), seeking recovery of his daughter from “illegal detention” by the jail authorities.

Sargodha jail authorities admitted in the LHC that they received “Robkar”— release order — in the case in which she had secured bail from an anti-terrorism court.
