LAHORE: Heavy damage has been caused by a fire in the chemical factory of Karol Ghati in Punjab city.
Due to the fire, thinner and chemical drums in the factory exploded. The reasons for the fire are not yet known.
According to the report of Geo News, the flames in the chemical factory started talking to the sky. A paint factory located in Karol Ghati near Lahore’s Ring Road caught fire late at night.
The fire that broke out late at night quickly spread throughout the factory, rescue workers reached the spot after receiving the information about the fire and started operations to extinguish the fire.
Around 10 to 12 vehicles of Rescue 1122 are taking part in the fire extinguishing process. Rescue workers say that the fire that broke out in the paint factory near Ring Road at 10:30 pm is still not under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. According to the report, panic spread among the people of the area due to explosions during the chemical drum fire in the paint factory, there was no loss of life in the incident.
