ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan has lawlessness would not be accepted.
The statement came after the lawyers protesting at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) hospital where Punjab information minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan arrived to ease the tensed situation.
In her tweet, Firdous Ashiq Awan posted that she highly condemned the attack on Fayyazul Hassan Chohan. She regretted the torture Choahn went through.

She added that rioting, sabotaging, and harassing poor patients and their relatives was a condemnable act.
According to Awan, lawlessness cannot be tolerated at all. Those who wear law uniforms must obey the law, she added.
Earlier on Wednesday, a group of lawyers manhandled Chohan who arrived at the PIC hospital to ease the tensed situation.
The lawyers, who were protesting inside the PIC hospital over a dispute with young doctors, slapped and severely manhandled the provincial minister when he arrived at the hospital to hold talks with the protesters.
