ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan, in a letter written to the caretaker government, directed to show neutrality for a level playing field with the aim of ensuring fair and transparent elections.

According to the details, the Election Commission has written a letter to caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, Principal Secretary, and four provincial chief secretaries in which all political parties have been ordered to give a level playing field in the general elections.

During a trial in the Peshawar High Court, the Advocate General said, “Don’t ask them to speak against institutions in public meetings.” This raises the question of whether national institutions want to become sacred cows. Justice Ejaz Anwar of Peshawar High Court in the contempt of court case against not allowing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to hold a workers’ convention said that all political parties hold rallies, and if one party does, they start recalling Article 144 of the DC. The hearing of the case was conducted by a two-member bench consisting of Justice Shakeel Ahmed and Justice Ijaz Anwar.
