Present at the stadium alongside his wife Gauri and children Aryan and Suhana, Shah Rukh Khan was captured passionately cheering for Team India during the final clash against Australia.
Following Australia’s victory by 6 wickets, the actor shared a heartfelt message on a micro-blogging site, acknowledging the team’s exceptional performance and character throughout the tournament.
“The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour, and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport, and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately, it happened today…but thank you, Team India, for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket,” SRK wrote.
