No joint patrolling anywhere near Pakistani borders: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has stated that there was no joint patrolling anywhere near Pakistani borders.

The ISPR’s statement came after an article published by Dawn newspaper over Pakistan-Iran forces which the ISPR has denied.

The official statement issued by the ISPR, stated, “News published by Dawn today titled ‘Pak-Iran Forces jointly conduct border patrolling’ is factually incorrect.”

It further stated, “There is no joint patrolling anywhere on Pakistani Borders. Patrolling/ operations if required are always on respective sides by respective forces through coordination.”

Earlier today, Director General of ISPR, Major General Asif Ghafoor urged to stay kind with the strays. Ghafoor from his personal account tweeted, “Winters brought a lot of miseries for strays.”

DG ISPR wrote, “Winters bring a lot of miseries for strays. Many seen struggling to survive individually as well as in groups.”

He added, “Their desperate attention-seeking isn’t without a reason. Be kind to them. They deserve some of your charity. #CareForStrays #LoveAnimals.”
