The latest research has warned that storing the sacrificial meat in the freezer for more than 2 to 3 weeks on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha can cause bacteria to grow in it which leads to stomach infections.
Professor of Medicine at King Edward Medical University, Dr. Asrarul Haq has warned that carelessness on Eid al-Adha can lead to illness. People suffering from heart disease, liver, diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure, kidney, and uric acid patients should be careful on Eid.Â
Dr. Asrarul Haque said that patients with high blood pressure should avoid eating beef while it is also important to avoid foods made from market spices. “Diabetes and heart patients should also eat meat according to their age,” added the doctor who also advised to eat meat on the advice of a doctor.

It was also said by the professor of medicine that if the meat is not cooked well, it can also cause stomach ailments. Likewise, eating too much meat can cause you to suffer from diarrhea, as well as indigestion and stomach cramps.
Dr. Asrarul Haque, while consoling the people, added that eating meat for two or three days does nothing, but those who are elderly should eat meat only as much as they can digest. “Eating too much meat can lead to stomach problems,” he once again warned.
