Fawad Khan, who is a diabetic and has been following a healthy lifestyle, has shed light on his ‘sweet’ disease.
Fawad has recently given an interview where he talked in detail about his disease as he is suffering from Type 1 diabetes and shed light on how he manages his lifestyle after the disease he was diagnosed at a very young age.
Fawad revealed that he found out that he has Type 1 diabetes when he was only 17 years old and it was a huge hit for a young boy that age.
According to him, he was having symptoms like polyuria, and dry mouth and when he went to the doctor he found out he had diabetes.

He shared that just like polio campaigns, people should be educated about the disease and how to deal with it, how to deal with a child who has Type 1 diabetes, and how to educate students and young children not to make fun of people or their fellows who are suffering from diabetes.
Fawad Khan also shared how he fought depression caused by having this condition and said that even a disease like cancer cannot even stop a person if he is willing to become a better person or wants something from life.
He also talked about how people suggested to him quite bizarre remedies to overcome the incurable disease. From drinking bitter gourd juice to drinking water from special springs, Fawad Khan said that he had tried everything but nothing works.Â
