PDM says Cyclone Biparjoy 550km away from Karachi

KARACHI: The Sindh government has declared the next 3 to 4 days important as cyclonic storm Biparjoy is 550 km away from Sindh’s capital.

According to the details, the cyclone came at a distance of 550 km from Karachi. In Ormara, water has entered the houses. The Sindh government said if the storm changes its course, the entire coastal belt of Karachi and Sindh may be affected.

The intensity of Cyclone Bipjoy, which formed in the Arabian Sea, has affected the coastal areas of India and Pakistan. Residents of the coastal areas of Balochistan and Ormara said that seawater has entered their houses and shops.

The Meteorological Department said that the cyclone will enter from India and pass over Badin and Tharparkar. The fishermen of Keti Bandar Port their boats on the shore. Fishermen also started returning from Badin. Many fishermen are still in the open sea.

The winds continued to blow in Sajawal last day as well. Citizens from Badin started moving in trucks and tractors. More than 2000 people left their homes.
