ANKARA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Turkey on a two-day official visit where meetings with the top leadership are part of the schedule.
According to the details, the prime minister arrived in Turkey last night to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, where the prime minister was received by the top officials of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Pakistani ambassador was also present to welcome Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Turkey. PM Shehbaz Sharif will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Turkish president during his 2-day visit.

During the two-day visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif will also meet investors and the business community in Turkey and invite them to invest in Pakistan. Investors will also be informed about the facilities provided by Pakistan.
During his visit to Turkey, the prime minister will also meet with the Turkish president and other Turkish leaders. During this time, Pak-Turkey friendship and mutual cooperation and other matters of mutual interest will be discussed.
It should be noted that earlier the spokesperson of the Foreign Office Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said in the weekly briefing that PM Shehbaz Sharif will also invite Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Pakistan during his visit to Turkey.
