RAWALPINDI: Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that the police are raiding places to arrest him and his nephew Rashid Shafiq.
In his message on Twitter, the Awami League chief said that the police were raiding places to arrest his nephew Sheikh Rashid Shafiq. “My staff has been picked up. Until the police make arrests, I will keep in touch with the nation through Twitter,” he stated.

The former interior minister said, “Only the Supreme Court can get out of the political crisis. The IMF failed, the budget crisis, the economy is destroyed, and the friendly countries are not there, this is the performance of the government.
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that if Imran Khan is to be disqualified, then with whom should PDM contest the elections? “The system of oppression cannot work. It will be the funeral of the N-League covering the chador and the wall and the shroud of the PDM,” he added.
Sheikh Rasheed said that with God there is no delay, no darkness, and corrupt government should not be supported. “Already the poor are dying. The dollar is rising. Now the price of medicines has increased by 20 percent,” he stated.

The head of Awami League said that the prologue of May 9 is regrettable. The conspiracy is giving the wrong impression that there is a distance between the people and the institutions. “If innocent children are picked up from the streets, then the curses of the mothers will be heard. Hatred and anxiety are increasing,” he added.
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad further added that the poor are eating mud and flour. “Nawaz Sharif cannot step outside the house. That is why Pakistani overseas are being threatened,” he asserted.
