ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the National Security Committee will be held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which national security issues will be discussed.
According to the details, the meeting of the National Security Committee under the chairmanship of PM Shehbaz Sharif will be held today, in which the heads of the armed forces including Federal Ministers and Army Chief General Asim Munir will participate.
In the National Security Committee meeting under the chairmanship of the prime minister, the political situation of the country and the sit-in at the Supreme Court will be discussed. Earlier, PM Shehbaz Sharif was supposed to chair the National Security Committee meeting seven days ago, but due to some reasons, this meeting of the National Security Committee was postponed.

The top civil and military leadership of the country participated in the meeting of the National Security Committee last month. Meanwhile, it was agreed to continue and intensify the operation against the growing terrorism in the country.
During April, the 41st meeting of the National Security Committee continued for two hours in the Prime Minister’s House, in which the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, along with the heads of the three armed forces, the Ministers of Information, Defense, Finance, Foreign Affairs, and Interior participated.
