Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor saw a rocking start at the box office.
The movie which was recently released in theatres on March 8, has recorded the second-best opening for a Bollywood movie after Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ this year.
Directed by Luv Ranjan, the movie added Rs 10 crore to its collection. It was almost Rs 5 crore less than its previous day’s collection which earned Rs 15 crore in India on its opening day.

The romantic comedy also marked the acting debut of Boney Kapoor. This is also the first time Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have worked together.
The film revolves around Ranbir and Shraddha who easily fall in love but struggle to breakup. On the work front, Ranbir also has ‘Animal’ in the pipeline and Shraddha, on the other hand, will soon begin shooting for ‘Stree 2’.
