The suspect allegedly fled the area, and the man who was stabbed does not have any affiliation with UW, according to UW.

“Most of the people that I know feel pretty safe on campus, the lighting is good and at night time it’s pretty much fine,” said UW Freshman, Tate Parker.

The man was taken to UW Medical Center – Montlake to treat his injuries. UW urged the public to avoid the area if possible.
