DUBAI: The UAE government has announced a major investment in Pakistan.
Three major investment projects of the Emirati government in Pakistan were announced at the Pakistan Business Council function in Dubai yesterday whose value is estimated to be more than one billion dollars.
The Shipping and Logistics Corridor between the UAE and Pakistan will be signed on Friday. Chairman of Pakistan Export Processing Zone Dr. Saifuddin Junejo attended the business council ceremony along with the delegation.

On this occasion, Dr. Saifuddin said that Pakistan Export Processing Zones will be established on the pattern of Dubai Free Zones, from which the target of exports is five billion dollars in 3 years. At present, the exports are one billion dollars. Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman DP World Fakhar Alam said that UAE is ready to invest in Pakistan.
