MIANWALI: A key commander of banned outfit Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed in retaliatory fire by CTD team in Punjab.

According to reports gathered by MM News, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday gunned down TTP Commander Habib-ur-Rehman when they came under attack. Officials said the exchange of fire continued for some 20 minutes after which the TTP commander was killed while two of his associates managed to flee from the scene.
CTD recovered weapons and suicide vests from the possession of the terrorists.
A search operation against the terrorists on the run was launched.
CTD spokesperson said a case into the incident had been registered in CTD Sargodha station.
