PIA doubles fees on additional baggage

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines has doubled its fees for additional baggage.

PIA spokesperson has said that commuters have now to pay Rs 5800 on 10Kg of additional baggage.

He has said Rs 2500 and Rs 800 on per Kg of additional baggage would be charged from Karachi to Dubai and Karachi to Jeddah bound flights respectively.

It further he said Rs 25000 would be charged on an additional 27 kg from Karachi to Toronto.

Rs 3500 would be charged on an additional per Kg baggage from Karachi to London bound flights.

Earlier this month the national carrier launched a mobile application to facilitate the passengers.  The mobile app is user-friendly and allows passengers to perform numerous functions such as monitoring booking status, booking their flight and the status of the flight simply from their handsets.
