LAHORE: Senior central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that it is time to announce the elections in the context of the success of taking the vote of confidence of the Chief Minister of Punjab.
According to the details, talking to media representatives in Lahore yesterday, the former foreign minister said that Parvaiz Elahi got a vote of confidence once again today. The claims of the opposition parties remained fragmented, he said.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that people came to Lahore from Karachi as well, and an attempt was made to create an atmosphere like Islamabad in the Punjab Assembly. “I congratulate Imran Khan on Parvez Elahi’s success. The lawyers fought the legal battle brilliantly,” he said.

He said that the time has come to announce elections to get Pakistan out of the uncertain situation. “Things are changing very fast. People also voted for Imran Khan in the by-election. MQM protested the situation in Karachi is in front of everyone,” he said.
