PTI leader Mian Iqbal said party chairman Imran Khan had already convened an important meeting in which key decisions would be taken, adding that the assemblies (of KP and Punjab) would be dissolved during current month.
The development came after media reports that a section within PTI had suggested to dissolve only one assembly and better wait for political reaction for a certain period, after which another assembly could also be dissolved.

It may be recalled that on November 26 at the end of Long March, former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had announced that his party would not remain part of the existing assemblies, signaling the dissolution as well as en masse resignations.
In the meantime, PDM leaders including Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani and others have been urging upon PTI to rejoin the parliament and become part of, what they call, ongoing democratic process.
PTI, however, has remained adamant that it will go ahead with its decision to dissolve KP and Punjab assembles, and its lawmakers will quit Sindh assembly as well.
