ISLAMABAD: PMLN leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has met the Saudi Ambassador in Islamabad during which bilateral relations were discussed.
According to details, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliky met Federal Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq in Islamabad during which Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations were discussed.
During the meeting, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and the Saudi ambassador agreed to promote cooperation in the field of aviation, while the historical and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are deep.

It should be noted that earlier the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to Pakistan was postponed, Pakistani media also confirmed the news. However, media reports did not mention the reason for the postponement of the visit. The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister were expected to visit Pakistan at the end of November.
During the visit, Pakistan was expected to receive a $4.2 billion bailout package, and a number of Pakistan-Saudi Petroleum contracts were being finalized, but these hopes were dashed by the postponement of the visit.
