PERTH: Netherlands have won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan. Netherlands captain Scott Edwards won the toss and opted to bat first against Pakistan at Optus Stadium, Perth.
It may be mentioned here that Pakistan have lost to India and Zimbabwe while Netherlands faced defeats against Bangladesh and India.
After facing two back-to-back defeats in the Super 12 stage of the ongoing T20 World Cup, Pakistan and Netherlands are going up against each other here on Sunday.

Following a loss against Zimbabwe, Pakistan find themselves in a do-or-die situation. The team can not afford another defeat as it will completely rule them out of the competition.
With Pakistan’s qualification chances hanging by a thread, the Green Shirts will have to win all three of their remaining fixtures to stay alive in the event.
After losing first two matches, Pakistan dropped Haider Ali from the XI as he made way for fit-again Fakhar Zaman.
