ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday arrested a man from the federal capital on charges of cyber harassment and blackmailing, FIA said.
As per the statement, Cyber Crime Wing of FIA Islamabad conducted a raid and arrested an accused named Muhammad Gulfam.
“The accused was involved in harassment, blackmailing and mental tortured of the complainant on the basis of obscene videos and pictures,” it said, adding that the cell phone and digital equipment was properly seized and sent to Forensics Lab for detailed analysis. Further probe is underway.

A First Investigation Report (FIR) against the alleged harasser was lodged under the recently passed Prevention of Electronic Crime Act (PECA).
The accused has been shifted to Islamabad for further investigation by FIA officials.
