Desperation of poor and the country’s conditions

Nadeem Moulvi by Nadeem Moulvi
October 20, 2022

The financial condition of Pakistan and its people has not changed till date because we have never done any economic planning and never thought about our future because we are a nation living in the present who neither learn from the past nor thinks about the future.

Country’s politicians also polish their politics so that they can stay in power forever. Politicians treat people as sheep and make various statements and people follow them without thinking.

If we want people to be better off, first of all we have to teach children about economy from a young age. Our children today do not understand the value of anything. Our children have only learned to ask not the art of earning.

Whether it is mother’s love, father’s compassion or elders’ love, we ask for it, but we forget our duties for this love, affection and compassion, while children only want that everyone, including their parents, listens to them.

The countries that developed many years ago, it was because they made their children realize the importance of different things, be it love of parents or love of country. They taught the children that if they are going to serve their parents, get education from their teachers, then you have to give them the same respect that a teacher gives his knowledge, his skill, to his student.

Saving money has become the biggest problem of our country and around the world at this time. Expenses have increased so much that saving money seems impossible. This is because whether it is a house, an office or a country, we do not make an economic plan.

If we start writing down our household expenses on a daily basis, at the end of the month we will know what things are causing us not to save, but we can also keep our home as well as our country on a daily basis.

One of the biggest ways to save money is to identify your expenses. Unless you know a problem, you cannot find a solution. Usually, the biggest problem for a person is his debt, which we take for granted, but that debt burden increases on a monthly basis.

Before taking a loan we should also plan the repayment of the loan, for which a formal calculation is necessary. All this cannot be done on the basis of guesswork.

When it comes to savings, we can go from small amounts to big ones. For example, if we save 100 rupees on a daily basis, we can save 3000 rupees in a month, 36000 rupees in 12 months and 1 lakh 80 thousand rupees in 5 years.

This makes it clear that the 100 rupees we had saved for 1 day, if we continue that saving under the planning of 5 years, then a big saving of 1 lakh 80 thousand rupees can be made.

On the other hand, the state of the country’s economy is no different. On a daily basis, our politicians indulge in luxuries and flaunt more grandeur than kings while claiming to lead a poor nation.

Today, if our politicians change their lifestyle and stop royal government spending, we can pay billions of rupees in the next 5 years.

Be it government institutions or politicians, do you feel that they belong to a poor country? In Pakistan we have seen many politicians who worked for the country in the past, gave their personal wealth for the country and left this world thinking of the people.

For example, Shaheed-i-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan and Nimatullah Khan who left the world in the 21st century are role models before us. Many people say that such people are not found nowadays, but in this era there are people like Hafiz Naeemur Rahman who are living their personal life with the help of a small car and a job in a modest house.

At the same time, Naeemur Rehman is also contributing to politics, but the people now ask themselves one question that after coming to power, will this person be able to remain like Liaquat Ali Khan and Naimatullah Khan or will change?

Keeping this fear in mind, people do not come to support such people even if they want to, because in the past, some politicians remained politicians like Naimatullah Khan, but the people have seen them change. Due to this change, people are now afraid of trusting a change slogan and a change leader.

I pray that every politician of my country should follow the footsteps of Liaquat Ali Khan and decide to make Pakistan with his own money. Liaquat Ali Khan gave his personal house in Delhi to Pakistan.

Looking at the flood-hit Pakistan, did any political leader give any part of his house to the flood victims to live in? Leaders living in palaces could give many places.

I will be very happy if the politicians of my country invest money in their country, spend it on the poor so that the poor people are happy with them. If only one of my leaders would decide to live with the flood victims one night in the same condition that the flood victims are forced to live in, then maybe the poor flood victims would never live like that again.
