KARACHI: People have been protesting in various cities of the country, including the Sindh capital, due to long hours of load shedding.
According to the details, citizens are facing 6 to 8 hours of load shedding in different areas of Karachi. In areas with line losses, the duration of load shedding went up to 10 hours. People have expressed anger over the power outage.
Yesterday, the residents of Punjab Colony protested against continuous power outage and blocked the road leading to Boat Basin for all traffic while K-Electric denied unannounced load shedding.

On the other hand, load shedding continues in most cities of the country including Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. The highest load-shedding was recorded in Peshawar, where electricity remained off for 12 to 18 hours. Load shedding of 4 hours is being done in Rawalpindi Islamabad.
The duration of the power outage in Lahore is 2 hours. There is load shedding in other cities of Punjab including Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Multan. Sherees expressed their concern as the electricity supply remained suspended for hours in Hyderabad as well.
