KARACHI: The value of the US dollar has recorded an increase, the new value of the dollar was Rs 222.50 on Wednesday.
According to the Forex Dealers Association, the dollar is being bought at Rs 220 and sold at Rs 222.50 during business hours today. Even one day ago today, the increase in the value of the dollar was recorded during the business in the interbank market.
The dollar rose by Rs 1.5 in the interbank market on Tuesday, after which the dollar was trading at 217.70. Two days ago, the rupee once again fell against the dollar in the domestic exchange markets.
The State Bank said that the value of the dollar is increasing. According to the State Bank, the dollar has reached the level of Rs 216.66 after an increase of Rs 2.1 in the interbank market on Monday.
