KARACHI: A historic decline in the value of the rupee has been recorded. The inter-bank rate of the dollar rose to Rs 215.
According to the details, last week the price of the dollar had reached Rs 201.95 paise, but on June 21, the dollar reached the highest level of Rs 212 rupees.
Forex dealers said that the dollar rose by Rs 3.5 paisa at the interbank today and the dollar touched a new high of Rs 215. It may be noted that the appreciation of the US dollar against the Pakistani rupee was noted earlier. Fluctuations in the value of the dollar were observed. The US dollar increased by 20 paise to Rs 210.

Three days ago in the open market, the dollar increased by 50 paise to 210 rupees 50 paise, while a mixed trend was seen during the business on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
Earlier, the dollar was also seen depreciating shortly after the start of business in the interbank market and open market. Four days ago an agreement was reached between IMF and Pakistan.
The price of the dollar also fell in the interbank and open market, the price of the dollar in the interbank market decreased by Rs 1.10 paise to Rs 209, while the price of the dollar in the open market recorded a decrease of two rupees.
